Material Strategy
Quote on the Alloy You Actually Need
Not every bracket needs 7075. Not every housing needs 6061-T6. We look at the load path, the wall thickness and the finish before we name a grade. A switch from 7075 to 6082 on a lightly loaded cover often removes 20 to 30 percent of material cost without touching function.
We stock and machine 6061, 6061-T6, 2024, 5052, 5083, 6063, 6082, 7075 and ADC12. That range matters when a mill allocation tightens. If one alloy is short, we can usually propose a documented substitute and show the property difference rather than wait six weeks.
